“Caawiye Relief is dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities through education, humanitarian assistance, and sustainable development, creating hope and lasting change for future generations.”
Caawiye Relief is a non-profit humanitarian and development organisation established in 2012 and registered in the United Kingdom. The organisation was founded with the vision of improving the lives of vulnerable communities in Somalia, Africa, and the United Kingdom through humanitarian assistance, education, and sustainable development. The charity was officially registered in October 2012 under a constitution adopted in March 2012.
Although the organisation has not yet implemented large-scale programmes, it is now entering an active phase with a renewed commitment to delivering meaningful and sustainable projects that address the root causes of poverty, unemployment, and social inequality.
Our work focuses on empowering vulnerable people, particularly:
Children through access to quality education and child protection.
Women through skills development, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.
Elderly people by improving access to healthcare, social support, and dignified living conditions.
Young people by providing vocational training, employment opportunities, and life skills.
One of Caawiye Relief’s key priorities is to help reduce irregular migration from Africa, especially Somalia. We believe that many young people undertake dangerous migration journeys because of unemployment, poverty, and a lack of opportunities. Rather than risking their lives, young people should have the opportunity to build successful futures within their own communities.
To achieve this, Caawiye Relief plans to establish vocational training centres that provide practical skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation, tailoring, welding, information technology, agriculture, mechanics, and small business development. These programmes will equip young people with employable skills, support entrepreneurship, and create sustainable livelihoods.
In addition to vocational education, the organisation aims to implement programmes in humanitarian relief, food security, healthcare, women’s empowerment, education, community development, disaster response, and research to better understand the humanitarian challenges facing Somali communities.
Caawiye Relief believes that sustainable development begins with education, skills, dignity, and opportunity. By working closely with local communities, governments, international partners, and donors, the organisation seeks to build resilient communities where children receive education, women achieve economic independence, elderly people live with dignity, and young people have hope for a better future.

Skill Development
Caawiye Relief is committed to empowering vulnerable youth, women, and disadvantaged communities through practical skills development programmes.
